Weird!?!?!

For some reason today I thought I would take a look and see if my blog was still up. I mean after all it has been some time since I posted. Imagine my surprise when I saw the date of my last post. Weird, no?

There have been allot of changes from last year at this time. The major change is after 14 years living in West Jordan we decided to take the plunge and move to the East side. We purchased a 50 year old home that had been partially remodeled. The main reason for the move was to get Skyler within Skyline boundaries so he could play football there. He did and he had a wonderful Sophomore season. I will post some pictures later. He is currently trying out for the Baseball team. We will keep you updated on his progress.

I have to admit the past year has been hard. Allot of things I never thought would happen, did, and allot of things I thought would happen for sure, didn't. Such as life I guess.

The bottom line is this, De Ette, Skyler and me, well were still standing and that's a good thing.

I will tell you what this last year has taught me, always be prepared, never say never and hug the ones you love every chance you get, go to bed tired and wake up happy, hold your spouses hand and tell your children why you love them. Pray with your family, smell the roses, listen to good music and play with your dogs. Most of all, come to the realization, just as I did that life is too short, don't sweat the small stuff.
