Boy this is a first! For the first time in a long time Matt "Bubba" Richards hasn’t had too much to say. To be honest with you, the last four months have been shitty at best. It started the 4th of January when my mom passed away and it has been all down hill from there. Between the sagging economy, not having any time to grieve the loss of my mother, trying to sell trucks in a very competitive arena and a pancreas that’s decided to punch in and work overtime I've just about had it. That’s right, did you hear me MOTHER, you were right and I was wrong, being fat will and has caught up to me! I feel like crap, it sucks.
Have you ever seen the movie Alien? You know the part where the lizard dude explodes out of the guy’s chest? IM pretty sure that’s what is in store for me next. If you run into me somewhere I would suggest standing back a couple of feet because you never know when it's going to happen.
You know what the bejeasus is about this whole thing? DeEtte went to the doctor right after I did because she was having the same problems as I was and she is as bad as I am. Wow the was a weird sentence... Any way, I got ta tell ya, this life I can take it or leave it, don't get me wrong I love being alive and everything but I don't fear the other side. On the other hand one thing I can't stand is watching DeEtte suffer, she's not feeling good and she works her ass off every day. She is as tough as nails and never complains. If I was half the person she is then well.... I'd be a great person. I have and desperately want to be here to take care of her.
I guess the bottom line is that we both need to change. We have to get healthy, no matter what! DeEtte and I have Grand Kids we need to spoil... In about 15 years. We need to be here!
Today is the first day of the rest of my life, I will not give up, I will not waver, I will not quit!
Watch out world DeEtte and I have a Son to raise, games to watch, trucks to sale, cases to work, flowers to plant, cars to wash and ass to kick!
